Q) Who do you base the characters on?
A) If I knew, I would tell you. Some are friends, some are stereotypes, some are my friends that adhere to certain stereotypes...you get the picture.

A) At the time of writing, 16

A) England.

A) No, I am born from plasmid goo after a nuclear reaction.

A) No, I was being sarcastic. I'm male.

A) Yes, babies for all!

Q) Why did you decide to do a web-comic? More specifically, a sprite comic?
A) I am well aware of the reputation of sprite comics as being low-quality and such, however it is a mould I hate and want to break as so many have before. Also, I have somewhat sub-standard drawing skills. Also, something my nature disliked about the original Mario game was the complete lack of an in-game story in any kind, though that is typical of NES games. It's all in the instruction booklets. So I decided to take the "Bowser takes Peach. Mario and Luigi go to save her" basis used in the first game, put it in a seperate universe based after the majority of the games, which I rearranged in my own order. Thus this idea was born.

Q) Aren't sprite comics illegal?
A) That is complicated. You see, technically as long as I make no profit from any of the copyright material, I doubt Nintendo would care, and it most likely falls under fair-use anyway, which I hope is what applies because of the USA hosting an all. if not, I'll have to dig around the UK version of the law, and hope to hell it works...or else just hope I don't get sued, which I most likely will not (Nintendo have bigger problems, 2D remakes of their 3D games that always fail miserably and what-not). I could even argue Sprite comics fall under "Copying and distribution of copies of an artistic work for the purpose of advertising its sale", since anyone who reads this and hasn't played any Mario games (aka. hasn't lived), may want to play said games :P Or I misread the law after looking at it for a few seconds...either way, s'all good.

A) What is this 'living' you speak of?

Q) What do you make them in?
A) Depends, I customise any sprites in MS-Paint, because it is actually decent for that. I usually arange these comics in paint.net, because it's like Photoshop only free and also very good.
