What...the...hell...

For those of you that don't know, a little history.

The Duke Nukem video game series originally developed by Apogee Software which began with a Side-Scroller, Duke Nukem, and produced many sequels. The four 'main ones' are Duke Nukem II, Duke Nukem 3D, and Duke Nukem Forever.

The latter of these has been tirelessly worked on by 3D Realms since development began in 1997. No, that wasn't a typo, this game has been in creation for 10 long years, stuck in the state of limbo known as "development hell". WTF 3D Realms? No really, WTF?

I can only think of one reason for this recent turn of events.
Hell itself has frozen over.
